JPMorgan Chase is adding new faces to their team and adding some diversity to their senior leadership this week. The finance corporation announced the appointment of Reggie Chambers as their new Head of Investor Relations. He will be taking over the role from Jason Scott who will go on to serve as Head of Global Technology Finance.

He will be responsible for leading the team to maintain corporate relationships with investors and analysts. Chambers will also be assisting in helping guide the team through the company’s long-term strategy, financial performance, governance, and understanding of the company’s model.

Chambers currently works as the Chief Administrative Officer for consumer banking leading the initiatives focused on branch innovation and operations. In his current role, he is responsible for developing new brand location formats and helping the consumer banking division during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is a great example of our strong talent bench and mobility for two wonderful leaders,” said JPMorgan Chase’s Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Piepszak to BLACK ENTERPRISE via email. “I want to thank Jason for the terrific job he has done these last four years helping investors understand our compelling value proposition, and welcome Reggie to the team as he brings a wealth of experience to this role.”

Before his time at the finance company, the Harvard Law graduate has also worked as the White House Fellow at the White House National Economic Council under the Obama administration. He has also worked in management consulting along with principal investments in companies like the 3i Group in addition to working as Vice President with Citi Investment Banking and working as a corporate lawyer in New York City and Madrid, Spain. His new role will begin in January 2021.
