The former first lady expressed her gratitude towards brave healthcare workers who are fighting the spread of novel coronavirus known as Covid-19, and treating patients with Covid-19 via her social media handles.
Here is the endearing message the former first lady posted on his social media handles :
“I want to say a big thank you to all our healthworkers who continue to work tirelessly on the frontline, in the fight against #COVID19. May God protect and preserve you even as you go about your daily duties.
We appreciate your dedication, hardwork and selfless sacrifice.
Ghana ma mo ayekooo!”
The former first lady has over the years carved a niche for herself as a humanitarian and philanthropist par excellence giving support to health institutions, orphanage homes and other welfare institutions to ensure quality of lives for the vulnerable and the needy. Through her foundation, she has been addressing some of the problems facing women and children and the underprivileged. Apart from her humanitarian activities, the former first lady through her foundation has been supporting our health facilities with medical supplies including orthopaedic beds, beds and mattresses, gloves, bandages, patient-care-kits, wheelchairs etc.
