BLACK ENTERPRISE: What made you want to become an entrepreneur?

Tatiana: Entrepreneurship was inherited. My mother (beautician) and father (carpenter) were both entrepreneurs, so it’s all I’ve ever really known.

What would you tell your 21-year-old self?

I would tell her to be patient, party more, and that you definitely don’t need to eat out every day.

What do you want to say to the woman who doesn’t feel like she’s good enough to make it in the marketplace?

There no such thing as good enough! Your superpower is the fact that you are you, and no one can take that away from you so use it to your advantage, Sis!

Why are you so big on collaboration?

I’m big on supporting other women. It was how I was raised. I love collaborating with other women because there’s strength in numbers. Women are generally very intuitive and cross-branding goes a long way. In addition, there’s a misconception that women don’t get along, and just like other barriers, I want to break that stigma.

How can people stay connected with you outside of this interview?

I can be reached via www.LabeledBluCollections and www.LabeledBluTransportation as well as on Instagram @IamTereTatiana or Facebook, Tere Tatiana.
