“Our videogames are made on stolen Wurundjeri land.”
Untitled Goose Game‘s House House has pledged to donate at least 1% of its future revenues to Australian Indigenous groups.
“Our videogames are made on stolen Wurundjeri land,” a tweet from House House begins.
“We at House House will be paying at least 1% of our income to Indigenous groups, in perpetuity, as part of the Pay the Rent movement. We’d encourage others to do the same.”
House House has kicked off its pledge by donating to the Wurundjeri Tribe Council, Warriors of Aboriginal Resistance and Seed, an Indigenous youth network. If you’d like to do the same, you can head here.
Untitled Goose Game is currently available on Windows PC, Max, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. It received our Indie GOTY award for 2019.
