A native title deal worth nearly half a billion dollars has been described as a good example of a treaty that benefits all parties.
The landmark agreement was signed between the WA government and the Yamatji people of Western Australia’s Mid-West region on Friday. It recognises five claimant groups’ traditional ownership of 48,000 square kilometres of land in and around the port of Geraldton.
